Catholic Empire or Peace of Westphalia

I am just interested:
Has anybody in the forum ever chosen peace of Westphalia as a catholic emperor, even if You won the war?
I mean, for roleplay reasons, or because maybe someone does not like the effects...

Yes. It's entirely possible to do just fine as an emperor without getting the religious victory. To me the war is more of an opportunity to enlist a bunch of Ais in redrawing the map and beating up my enemies, not getting a weak imperial action that costs me authority.

Dont forget that despite the peace protestant princes still give a malus to authority, just only half as much as before.

Yes, but sometimes half the mallus is better than the Catholic bonus.
And in my current run, if I had chosen to make an Catholic Empire, all my allies would have lost their Kurwürde... Well, in the Catholic league were more protestant nations, than in the protestant Union...
