How it happened?
Because I won few holy wars and catholic MA wasn't high, one cathar province spawned in northern England. Then it spawned that uprising. Funny coincidence.

Interesting how the cultures get created, because in not one of my games has the Picts ever bothered to cross over into Ireland.

Lombard and Frankish into Italian and French
Frisian=Dutch in Frisia

Everything except west and central continental Europe are tribal in Charlemagne, or at least i should hope so, my ancestors in Ayrshire lived in mud huts until the 17th Century
