Destruction of imperial titles as 2nd goal and 3rd should be dividing lands between cathar kraka-tur kingdoms. All kingdoms should be created.
Yes, and no-one should ever have more than one kingdom. (For the Pict kingdom we can do that by dejure drift)

Adding destruction, but if we will create all the kingdoms, then everythign will be pictish...not what we want to be honest Plus going communists makes no sense as atheism is the communist doctrine. Moralism would make more sense to be honest :)

Plus, Lumber King We are going to play HoI3/HoI4 when it comes out.

By the way, are any of you planning to feudalize? I haven't play ck2 since 2.2 went out, so if you'd manage to be tribal till my turn, I can make it my first tribal game and break everything terribly, what can be better?

Not everything has to be pictish... We can educate special kinsmen in special cultures to keep the one corresponding the kingdom.

Or we shift through the cultures with our main ruler as we shift through the kingdoms. Because destroying all empires means we have to go to at least Persia when the Timurids arrive.

EDIT: ekorovin, Mighty Imhotep has already feudalized us, IIRC.

This means either we have to use our vassals to do the job for kinsmen or send an independent ruler our kids as hostages. That way culture change is still possible.

Probably easier (and with higher probability) is to culture shift as the ruler with RoI's decision. But it would require the DLC.

Or, when we're in a different-culture kingdom, do the 'Convert to local culture' decision.

Well converting every province to Pictish might take a long time, and if we go in places like Italy they might change from Lombard to Pictish and then to Italian and then to Pictish and then to Italian if we get unlucky. So I think that while we migrate we change cultures or just leave Pictish rulers behind.

King Unuist the Second
Preface

VnmSFuD.png

This is Unuist. King of the Picts. Unuist is an odd man, different from his father. Unuist was always more suited for the role of general instead of ruler. He's patient, diligent, and a brilliant tactician. Because of this, he was out in the field instead of in the castle. Not only that but he was arbitrary in his rule, always going off of his gut and reasoning instead of codes or laws. He also had a curious jealousy. He was jealous of ranks hire than him. He wanted people to be on his level than above him. When his father died, he was happy not because of being the ruler of a realm, but to have no one above him.

He was a zealous man, but not in the way of his forefathers. Instead of intense piety, it was intense hatred of anything not Cathar. It's like a allergic reaction. When there is a Catholic in the court, he starts foaming at the mouth and then goes on the beat the hell out of the Catholic. This can explain a reason why he is so effective on the battlefield. Of course, Cathar's don't say this is wroth but justified sacred anger.

Speaking of which, here is his wife

PfUOZyy.png

Lovely Luitgard. Queen-Chancellor of the Picts. A true genius. Luitgard and Unuist have been married for over 15 years. Although they have no real fondness for each other, they tolerate each other.

Now to more important things. Such as the war Unuist also inherited.

N3mFTrW.png

The war has been going fairly well so far. The foolish Frankish king decided to invade the Isles instead of waiting on his side of the channel. Unuist determines that if they keep on invading this way, he can easily kill the French catholics in nice chunks and wear down their forces nicely.

And on to the realm

G5oBolI.png

The realm is mostly cathar thanks to the effort of Unuist's kinsmen and fathers.

Today was nearing the end. His men were getting ready and rested for another battle against the French catholics. But that was for tomorrow. Now, Unuist laid his head to rest.

Frankish invasion! Fools! Don't they know that one does not simply invade the Isles. Except Romans, Vikings, Saxons and Normans. Well okay you can invade the isles but not now. May last of the Papist Dogs convert or die on the Isles!

King Unuist the Second

The Dream Part I

Unuist night was very eventful. No, no ambush from murdering catholics. It was his very slep that was eventful. To outsiders, he twisted and turned. Some would even say that something had entered his body, a evil spirit or something. But inside,, it was quite different.

Unuist dream was odd. For one, he was completely naked. For two, he was on a magic carpet. For three, he was high in the sky above the clouds. For four, he was sitting right next to Jesus Christ himself.

Unuist kowtowed. "My lord. It is the greatest blessing to see you with my very eyes. It is even greater to be able to speak to you," he said. Jesus laughed. "Man, everyone does this," he said. Unuist felt a bit odd. The lord's voice sounded a bit... relaxed and enthused. He did not think long on it.

"My lord. Why had you called me to you," Unuist said. Jesus laughed. "We're gonna go on a magic carpet ride dude!" he exclaimed. The magic carpet then dived sharply. The two dove through the clouds to see the land below. Unuist's jaw dropped and was flapping wildly behind them.

The first place they saw was a near but not so dear place to Unuist's heart.

ilrFutp.png

Francia. Realm of Unuist's two most hated things. Fre- I mean Franks, and catholics. Unuist spitted at the lands below. "Hey man, live and let live!" he said. "Sorry milord, but I can't really live with them," he said. Jesus sighed. "Say five Hail Mary's when you get up," he said. Unuist nodded.

W9pVLDl.png

Hildebert was anything but competent. His only redeeming quality was his scholarly knowledge. Though this turned him in to a shut-in, spurning the outside world for a life of accruing knowledge and books. In fact, this war had dragged him out of his chamber, putting him into the real world. This had caused him a lot of stress.

The carpet took a sharp turn southward. "Milord, where are we going to next?" Unuist asked. "To the realm where the words of my good friend hold firm," Jesus said, sounding scholarly despite his accent.

1PVdCUm.png

He was in the realm of the Saracens. Unuist looked surprised. "Milord, your friend. You speak of Muhammad?!" Unuist said, surprised. Jesus nodded. "Why?" Unuist said. "The man is a fantastic surfer," Jesus replied. Unuist looked confused. "I could go on really, and I know you would have the time. But I don't. I got lunch with Odin in an hour," Jesus said. Unuist looked hopelessly lost.

Umayyad had conquered the catholics in this area and consolidated its power. It is a strong player in the region.

Lxz9q52.png

Badshah Ahmad, while not a military man, was a pure diplomat. It is said that Satan visited him during a feast. Over the course of the feast, Ahmad beguiled and charmed Satan out of his tongue and took it for himself.

ar4hAJv.png

Africa, while not as large as his neighbors still as some weight to throw. It acts as an effective buffer state between Umayyad and Abbassid, and can play a large role in conflicts between the two. It might be Africa who will decide which power will dominate Islam, depending on the alliance.

Of course, they can get outright conquered by the Abbassids, but that' not nearly as fun to say.

mLtHGpm.png

Sultan Akutla. Spear of the South. Sword of the Saracens. Bow of the.... bubbly? Well, he is a glutton. Anyways, he is the most accomplished tactician ruler of the muslims. With a powerbase of Africa, he has the command and the ability to act. Well, that depends if he gets off his fat donkey and does anything.

sg4G79B.png

Abbassid is no doubt the largest of the Saracens. Not only did they crush the Byzantines, but they also crushed Multan. It seems nothing will stop them. Except...

UGrmZ0T.png

Caliph Al-Mahdi is truly past his prime. Already infirm at 55, and no real good qualities. Age has really wore him down. Despite this, he is still long for this world. His great health will grant him more years, even more than the normal man. But his rule is poor now, and depending on how long he rules, he Abassids could experience revolts and attacks from outside forces, and despite their size, their ruler will weaken them.

Unuist and Jesus sat on the carpet, both smoking from a hookah, looking down at the world. "This is enlightening milord," he said. "I know! My friend knows all the best mixes," Jesus exclaimed. "Not that. Well, yes. But all of this is enlightening. seeing the world. Seeing the men who rule great realms. I want to see more," he said. Jesus grinned. "We got a way's to go, dude!" he said.

The magic carpet sped up, shooting eastwards...

Well this is certainly a trip. I wonder what this will inspire. Maybe the focus will move away from Francia after all? And apparently all the deities have a blast watching the world now.
