i've been playing an ambitious game in which i started as doux of calabria under the emperor in 867 and am looking to conquer the west for the orthodox religion after becoming independent king of sicily. One of my daughters married the french king (matrineally) and was captured by norse raiders before producing an heir which would have been greatly beneficial. the infidels made her a concubine which angered me greatly and caused me to wonder why there isn't a casus belli to rescue family members.

other than that i also wanted a casus belli for greivances, for example, the king of hungary assassinated my wife and two of my sons in an attempt to get his grandson to the throne. the "Humiliation" or "Cut down to size" casus belli from other games came to mind for these grievances.

any other suggestions?
