Castration, born in purple and empires!

Hello.

I would love to know, if you can allow blinding/castrating prisoners on every court(ex. muslims dont have such option).

Another question is about born in purple. Is it possible to allow this feature to other empires/kingdoms besides ERE?

Born in Purple is hardcoded to the ERE (and by association, the effects of the counts_as_purple_born modifier in minor_titles.) Oddly, doesn't seem to affect k_titles in the ERE currently.

Castrating/Blinding you can mod the decision to remove the culture_group = byzantine requirement, but you'll still probably need Legacy of Rome.

I think only byzantines have the option to castrate/blind prisoners, via LoR

The other question - I suppose you could mod it but it wouldn't make any sense for others to have it as it is specifically byzantine/imperial roman in origin

I guess you could argue that "born in the purple" could refer to any child born to sovereign parents, but this would be more appropriate in later centuries when it got a colloquial context.

Well I just want to make my game more juicy, so the more born in purples and eunuchs, the better(in HRE, Britannia, and any other empire)

Other question is how to make orthodox separate religion, so that they can call holy wars against catholics and catholics would wage holy war against orthodox? Just like sunni can do this against shiia(oh, and here I have no idea how it works, as sometimes as shiia i can holy war sunni, sometimes not. how it works exacly?).

I tried to remove orthodox from chrisian group but it messes with orthodox and makes them (noreligion) and not allowed to play as they are considered as pagans.

It should be noted that "Born in the purple" should be taken very literally, as in "Born in the purple room of the Palace of Constantinople".

That there will be slaughter of innocents and infidels. I dont give actuall f*** about believing or not in holy wars, and if it is in any way historical or appropriate. What is the code for allowing castration/blinding? Is it reserved for Byzantine orthodox or any greek culture? Wonder if you can start as Muslim and educate your son to be a greek. After that you shouldnt have to keep killing off your sons.... Errr.. rather just cut their ***** off...

Would it not be easier to change the line

NOT = { religion_group = FROM }

From the 'can use' and 'is valid' sections of the religious CB in 00_cb_types.txt to

NOT = { religion = FROM }

You should also remove

AND = {
religion_group = muslim
NOT = { religion = FROM }
FROM = {
NOT = {
any_current_enemy = {
NOT = {
religion_group = muslim
}

and

AND = {
religion_group = muslim
NOT = { religion = FROM }
}

These bits are what allow sunnis and shias to holy war each other so are redundant if same religion group can holy war each other.

Obviously you should make a mod folder for this rather than modding vanilla files; there are some tutorials in the mod section that tell you how to make a mod folder if you don't already know how.

Cathars were already Heretics. Miaphysites, on the other hand, remain non-heretic even after the mending of the schism.
