Hello,

I'm sorry if I sound angry this is a post I decided to make after this happening to much and I did not have this problem before.

Ever sinds the airport DLC after my city has reached a size my cars start to drive slow on some roads.
I never had this problem but after the update this happens allot.
I even removed all trees in hopes this would have an effect.
Can someone help me?

Thank you in advance,
Andromida

Some information that would be helpful to solve your problem:
1. Are you using mods? Which ones? Does the problem persist, if you deactivate all of them?
2. What is your population, when this happens?
3. With how many frames per second (fps) does your game run? You can e.g. activate fps measurement in the Steam Overlay to find that out.
4. How many seconds in real time does one day in simulation last (time until the bar in the lower left fills and the date changes), on normal speed?
5. What is your PC configuration (CPU, graphics card model, RAM)?

This is a confirmed bug introduced by Airports (specifically the new taxiways) that was patched on Feb 10, 2022 in 1.14.0-f8. Before the patch, the fix was to replace the new taxiways with the old taxiways from the vanilla game. Search "FIX Lag from Airports in Cities Skylines (Patched)" on Youtube. But updating the game to the new patch should fix it.
