I'd greatly appreciate Carrier modules for Titans.

Perhaps a fully-carriered Tutan would gave a combined layout of... 8 H, 8 PD? Or whatever number. 10+10? 6+8? Whatever the balanced number would be.

When I play Devouring Swarm and some other Ethic-Personality types, I want an unbearable number of Strike Craft and nothing else.

Damn, imagine making a Juggernaut as part of a fleet like it was a Titan.
That would be great!
And being able to have more than just one serious carrier platform in your empire.

Granted, you can make a strike carrier fleet of battleships with a carrier module in the center and the X weapon in the front... but it doesn't have the FLAVOR of a serious supercarrier.

Like if you could make BB's with say... 4 or 5 H slots and a few PD's (and nothing else), that would be really nice. But like... CARRIER TITAN... doooood...
 
What if it lost the Perdition Beam and converted that into pure Hangers?

Well, the Titan takes 16 Naval Cap to a Battleships 8, and the 6 large slots it does get corresponds to the same 6 large slots the battleship gets, so a "fair" conversion would hold that 1 Perdition Beam = 6 Large slots equivalents and thus 6 more Hangars.

So you could justify up to 12 Hangars onto such a Titan. For Each Hangar you gave up, you could get 4 PD based on standard slot exchange rates.

I dont care if it's less effective.
I want it for megaflavor. Giant 12-H Megacarrier. The PD is left for the escorts, like in an earth type naval supercarrier. My Hive Queen needs to eat xenos by spewing out space-babies who go nom-nom on your ships.

I'd love it if the strikecraft was fleshed out into a full tree across all tiers of the game, like Energy and Kinetics.
  • Bring back bombers for BB+ sized ships (give them a "Heavy H slot" or 2 regular H slots or something IDK)
  • Extra H slot segments for larger (BB+) ships
  • an option for 1 "Light H" (Light: strikecraft in a squadron) destroyers
  • ... the option to build "FTL Equipped" Strike-squadrons - a la Empire at War - as an alternative to corvettes (so you'd build a "squadron" and it'd come with 8 ships moving & FTL-jumping as one - any would be replenished, if shot down, during a repair).

For as much as I disagree with the last 2 points, this makes me think of something:

We have a lot of S, M and L weapons
However we have very little choice in X, T weapons and almost no choice in G and H

It would be great to have more choice. For example you may use all 3 variants of G weapons, but all in all they are the same.
