The funny thing still is, that separating the train tracks is everything but in no way realistic.

Trains never can produce jams in RL, no train driver i choosing a path. I really would like to see this issue fixed. Also: I have a town with 7000 citizens, some but not really much industry, and one train station for export only, but still I get traffic jams on the tracks. This is ridiculous.
Agreed. It's a silly solution to a silly problem.

Hope CO address the train traffic issue too.

thought I'd post this (cargo rail bug?) here;

Cargo Trains heading outbound just all line up, stuck & red/jammed out. It's only connected to one cargo station & one passenger station.
I have another rail line going out the same side (further down at bottom of pic), & if I swap the track to it it doesn't have this problem. I've looked at the map in the editor & I can't see any obvious issue.

Any thoughts?
