A number of other mods like HIP and BLG have added the cool and appropriate cardinal robes. I think CKPlus should do the same. They look so good, and make it so accurate.

Not only we should have it too, but it should be the best of all.

Well, I approve of your suggestion.
I was busy developing my other mod, but when I get around to do the other stuff again, I will update my patch for CPRplus - the one from HIP.
But I agree, that could probably also be added to CK2Plus directly - but not for Chalcedonians obviously.

Yes, for Catholics. Well, O really went into detail in my post to when the red clothing started (mid 1100s), but I dunno if it is possible to make it start at a specific date. I just say it should get instated when there's the schism and the College of Cardinals starts.

Instead of a specific date, wouldn't it be better for it to trigger upon the schism?

Maybe, but I think clothing is hard coded in modding. But I don't really know.
Wouldn't it be possible to tie the clothing to the post schism religions? Similar to how religious leaders of the different major religions have different clothing, wouldn't tying it to "religous leaders" of the newly formed catholic faith work?

yes, that's true. The only issue is that the whole point is that the red robes started late 1100s and the schism is usually 100 years earlier. But that would be a very minor incongruency, far better than many others we see in CK2.
