Henry V said:At present, control of Mecca or Jerusalem (Judea) by a Christian country provides a missionary and +1 annual prestige. Control of Rome by a Muslim country has the same effect. (Actually, it would make more sense to have control of Mecca give a Muslim country the bonus, control of Rome give a Catholic country the bonus, and control of Jerusalem give the bonus to any Muslim or Christian country.)
Since Constantinople was the center of Orthodox Christianity, it seems like control of Thrace by an Orthodox Christian country should have the same effect.
This leads to another idea for peace settlements: "Move Capital." At present, you can't annex somebody's capital unless they have only one province. Why not add a peace demand called "Move Capital," which WOULD allow annexation of the existing capital? This demand should of course use a substantial part of the war score (30-50 percent). If accepted, the defeated country moves its capital at no cost, but possibly with a stability and prestige penalty for the humiliation, thus allowing the victor to take control of the province.
Victoria actually allows this scenario, in which a massive Russian victory over the Ottoman Empire moves the Turkish capital back to Anatolia while giving Russia a huge prestige bonus.
I like both suggestions. Especially the capital one, except it should maybe cost closer to 90% warscore.
