You can try Supreme Ruler 1936 or Supreme Ruler Ultimate. Both are not bad for WW2.

I tried SR1936, and it was a great game actually... my only problem was that after so many university courses on user experience, the UI felt really horrible. That is the one thing that paradox have improved a lot in: Making the games a lot prettier.

I think the only think that can satisfy us now are development diaries. We should have one at the beginning of December, and hopefully after the new year one every 2 weeks.

Although I'm hyped for HOI4, I'm getting worried that they wont fix the diplomacy/war options of HOI3 :/. For example, there were no faction truces/peace in HOI3, which really was kind of lame, and was unrealistic (Peace talks actually went on during the phony war and Battle of Britain). Also, I really hope that you can demand more things during the war. For example, instead of enforcing "Drang Nach Osten" on the SU as GER, one could enforce the SU releasing the Ukraine, Baltics and Belarus(as German puppets of course ). At the very least, I hope that cores are fixed (did it ever get annoying that you couldn't annex Alsace-Lorraine as GER when enforcing "The Fall of France").
