This I believe is a missing module, shame it doesn't say which one.

I know we've done this but can you run the .NET repair and the system file check again please?

Then run the Windows Updater, does it now find anything to install?

I did the following, I completely uninstalled NET framework 4.6.1, which was the one the the .NET repair always recommended to repair. I ran the .NET repair after that and I no longer get the recommendation to repair 4.6.1 or any other version. I still have NET framework 4.8, which is supposes to cover previous versions.

EU4 and Stellaris still cant run. HOI4 and Imperator run OK.

In Windows update, the last update is KB4522741, and I have the option to install KB4522355

Im sorry for being such a pain, and I really appreciate you helping me, Im also investigating on my own so dont think Im leaving you alone.

Not really sure where to go from here, I have to admit. Absent any way of identifying the missing or faulty module we'd just be guessing.

AFAIK there's no harm in applying those updates you mention; my Win10 machine is fully patched up to date and runs all those games just fine.

Are you engaging MS or other professional Windows support, do you mean?
