Every time I've tried to start playing CK2 with vanilla DLC and addons, it will just crash when I select my character, at any time no matter what period, which character or so on.
It just crashes.

Do by chance have the Steam Beta option active and are in 1.092 instead of 1.111 ?
Happened to some and it crashed as the more recent portrait DLCs had been loaded as well.

Now it works but the odd thing I noticed was the ingame store was disabled when I first started it, I just then went to ck2.exe and did run as administrator. Now I can run it fine with the shortcut but it was just weird..
Oh so a simpe permision issue then, (edit) as it probably is in 'Program files' or alike.
The ingame store is for the non-Steam Gamersgate variant.
