Cant start valkyrienet

I tried to play hoi2 on internet, but after a few minutes i had to leave, the next time i tried to start valkyrienet it finishes the programm. Everytime i try to start it leaves the programm.

I have just read the read before post thread. And I am sorry that i didnt read it before. So i start again.
I am using:
HOI2 version 1.2
WinXP Home Edition 2002
Service Pack 2
Dell Inspirion 9100 Deluxe (Notebook)
Intel Pentium (R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz
512mb RAM
128mb ATI Mobillity Radeon 9700 Grafik
Driver Version 6.14.10.6525
I am not sure with the soundcard,
Sigma Tel C-Major Audio
Driver Version 6.14.1.3913
DirectX 9.0c 4.09.0000.0904
I Also use a USB Conected Dell Mouse

A the probllem
Everytime i try to open the valkyrienet it crushs down to the windows desktop and the game is off. Before it crushes i can see the valkyrienet screnn and the information that it is trying to connect, after the 3 channel i gues it crushs. I hope u can help me and appreciate for the help.

I read that v-net was down. Is it still down?
that would be the solution could someone tell me?

its probably more of an issue with your router, antivirus, even win xp configuaration or firewall. What do you have?

I have a linux router, and mcaffe antivirus prog, but i havent changed them since i have the game and when i bought it it worked. i have no firewall active. i tried to reinstall it and i tried it without patch at first, but it didnt work.

Its probably due to the router - thats what I would place my bet on.. can you connect to the internet without a router? Like try dial up just to see if the same thing happens..

I just tried it, after the 4th try in the v-net screen it crushes back to win desktop

do you have all the newest patches for win xp installed? Try switching off the default xp protection. Wierd problem.. :/

li put the secutity level from a moderat down to the lowest level, but it still crushes after the 4th try on the vnet screen.

Hmm then I have no idea what the issue may be. Val often dumps players, crashes and does other wierd things so it may just not like something you got on your comp. Do you have another comp you cant try out?

I just tried it at my brothers pc and it worked
i think i am going to reinstall my whole nb. thanks for the help fiendix
