Folks, I am completely stumped by my failure to have the TOG start date on the menu of possible start dates. I purchased TOG from GamersGate; selected it from the in-game store; checked it in the list of available DLC (which means that it is actually installed on my computer, right?) and yet when the game loads the 867 start date is not among the available choices.
What's going on? The one thing I can think of is that I installed the 1.111 patch before buying TOG - maybe that's screwed it up somehow & I should reinstall the patch?

Thanks

First, did you scroll the bookmarks ? It might be not one of the first bookmarks.

Second, sometimes there are problems with the recognition of the DLC.

Check in the in-game store, log in to gamersgate, check if ToG is marked as installed there, stay logged in (!), leave the gamestore, quit the game , start the game up again.
That usually solves problems with DLCs.

Third, after installing the DLC you did a restart and the DLC was checked in the game launcher, right ?

well, staying logged in & exiting the in-game store did the trick, so many thanks. :)
One has to wonder why the interface is so finicky. At least it would have been nice to have a little guidance somewhere.
I don't recall having had so much trouble ith the other DLC I've bought for CK2 - I wonder why this one has proven more difficult?

Good that it solved that problem again. Seems to be the solution to GamersGate related DLC problems. Probably something about writing stuff in the dlc_signature.txt file or such.
It happened before with some DLCs. No idea why and why it happens for some and others don't have the problem.

Mysteries. Don't some people complain sometimes that there are no mysteries left in modern life ? Well there you go. ;)
Seriously though, would be good if these problems could get fixed, i agree.
