Dearest Paradox Community,
As the title of my post may suggest, I can no longer save any of my games and all of my previous saves have vanished. The game works 100% fine in every other way.
I've been scouring the forums to see if anyone had been having the same issue as me and though I found a few people posting about my exact issue on the steam forums, I've yet to find anything quite like my issue on the paradox forums.
I read the threads "Saved game won't run..." "Savedgames still broken..." & "All my saves is corurupted..." and they are all having issues with mods & crashes where my game doesn't crash at all, and I've not downloaded any mods yet.
This is my first Paradox game. I bought skylines on release - was very excited for it, it just smashes sim city. Great work.
Skylines worked fine originally. I put a lot of work into my city and it was saving/loading just fine. I played it again recently and my save wasn't there so I started a new city. All aspects of the game work fine, and when I go to save the game it seems as if it saves. "Saving.... Packaging..." done. Though when I go to load the city, it appears as if I have no saves at all. I've attempted saving both locally & on the steam cloud. The game does not crash and I can continue playing normally.
Though the "Continue" button on the main menu no longer works either.
When I do a manual search for the saved files, the file on my computer is indeed empty.
So I'm at a loss - I don't have any crash reports to show because the game doesn't seem to think there is an issue.
I'm using an hp - windows8 and I'm currently using the 1.0.7c version of skylines.
Have you heard about this issue before? Can you help me out?
