So the title is pretty self explanatory. I use the CK2+ mod and I'm thinking that maybe that is what is messing it up because I'm the king of Kiev and the vassal is my de jure duke and an imprisoned traitor. I should have evert right to revoke his title (every new duke I get always revolt) but when I try it says I can't because "The crown authority of CHernigov doesn't allow for revocation". What the heck does that mean?! He is my de jure vassal and my laws DO allow revocation, I've done it before. Why wouldn't that extend to my dukes?

Anyone know what to do or what is causing this?

Check to see if he has any other duchies. If he does, he can end up with "unable to revoke" protected if any of his duchies are no-revoke zones. You'll have to get the kingdom title of the other place up to allowing revocation (or destroy the title for the same effect) to revoke if this is the case.

He does have 3 duchies in total. So if only one of them is not a de jure part of my kingdom then I can't revoke ANY of his titles? Even if the title I want to revoke is his primary title is in my de jure kingdom and there are no other de jure kingdoms around?

You probably have the autonomous vassals law, which disallows title revocation. You need to raise your crown authority

No. If the title you are trying to revoke is within the current de Jure kingdom that is under autonomous vassals crown authority, you won't be able to revoke the title. This is also true if its de Jure empire exists and is at autonomous vassals. It doesn't matter who owns the title associated with the crown authority - all that matters is that the title exists and that the crown law is active.

This is default game behavior, however. I have no idea how this might be altered by the mod you're using.
