Playing Hispania. I have a double duke, Beja and Grenada. He is also, by marriage, king of Swabia. But he is my vassal. If I right click his pic, hover over "Revoke Title" (greyed out), it says I cant because "King Agila must be your direct vassal", Yet right there in his char page it shows me as his leige. Imprison is not an option at all, not even greyed out. Is it possible that I am his leige but he is not my vassal?

Are you sure there isn't a king somewhere in between you and him? He has to be your direct vassal. From what you say, it seems like he is indeed your direct vassal, but a screenshot might help.

Note he is king of Swabia by marriage only. Click on Swabia and his wife shows up and the leige. Also note, it shows my pic as "leige".

If it is a design flaw or bug, is there a cheat code or some other shenanigan I can use to fix it? Like, have him excommunicated, declare war on Swabia and crush her like a bug, whack him, whack his wife, whack his entire extended family, ????
My ultimate goal here, he's a double duke and needs to be stripped of one. Also want to make sure his two duchies don't end up in Swabia by some convoluted inheritance loophole even though my realm laws don't allow it. (Note the two discolored counties - it seems like "controlled realm inheritance" and other laws are not infrequently violated.)

His char sheet shows no war. His wife, as queen of swabia, is in a war. But that doesn't involve him. His counties are not occupied. He now has two sons so I can force gavelkind and accomplish the same thing - no more double duke. Also note the option to "End Plot". This is always accompanied by an option to, and a justifcation for, Imprisonment. Yet I have no "Imprison" option. So this guy can plot a hit but I can't arrest him for it? That's not right. Something's messed up here. I have never had a vassal I couldn't imprison, valid cause or no.
I think that the problem might be that he's in your wife's court.
Just to be clear, that shouldn't keep you from revoking his duchy titles, but I suspect that's what's happening, and it's a bug.

To further clarify, I don't think that your being unable to imprison him is a bug--he's in his wife's court, and since she isn't a vassal of yours (that is correct, that she's not your vassal, right?), he's not in your realm and therefore you can't imprison him. That actually makes sense, IMO. But you should still be able to revoke his titles, and that you can't is a bug IMO, unless someone else can figure out a valid reason why you can't revoke.

Sorry no. The problem resolved itself. He died. His son was also a jerk. I goaded him into war and took one of his duchies. Put him under a viceroy in the other,. So he's not my problem any more. Thx.
I didn't notice that he was in his wife's court. That does make sense. Thx for seeing that.

The duke is not in her court.
In the tooltip it clearly says "Reigning in Mertola, Mertola".
Did you maybe have a non-aggression pact with him ?
Apart from that i can only assume that the war of his wife made it impossible to revoke.

Ok so that theory is out. And even if he was out of court, I should still have been able to revoke title (even if there is no cause). There is no option to break non-aggression pact so does that mean there is no such pact?

Don't think so.
There exists no option to break a pact.
Pacts are displayed under the Pacts tab of the character.
Just a guess, by the game not differnetiating between the courts because of the marriage.
Again, just a wild guess.
A few more questions:
Do you have the right laws to be able to revoke?
Do you have enough prestige to revoke?
Was he granted the titles within the last year?
