Can't restore Byzantium even though i annexed Turkey BftB

For whatever reason, when i annex turkey i can't restore Byzantium and thus gain any cores from Turkey. I went down the Fascist and Byzantium national focus with the EEE and stuff so it's probably not me doing something wrong in the focuses. Maybe a bug? Idk, I need help with this because after that, everyone comes in and deletes me because lol no manpower

Did you get Hatay? It's the small province in the NW corner of Syria. You might find the thread on A Bad Romance useful. Also Formable Nations in the Wiki is a great resource.

You also need to complete 'Reviving the Spirit of the Two-Headed Eagle' I think it was before you can take the restoration decision. It's right under the focus that triggers the war.

Done that, the decision just disappears as if it's a bug or something. And in different playthroughs it disappears in different stages. so really i have no idea what's going on, maybe just a bug or something.

That does indeed sound very strange. Never seen that happen.

I did it on WTT. Some people have reported that it can be bugged on the current BotB build. One person activated the Beta and loaded his last save and was credited with the achievement. Worth trying. You can activate the Beta patch, load your game, maybe get the achievement and deactivate the Beta, if you don't want the Beta patch. Note that the Beta is a significant boost for Hardly Anything Sevres as it reduces the time on a lot of focuses.

I just replayed it with the Beta patch and what I noticed was that after the EEE takes over, I lose the decision to make "Greater Greece" and even after I do the Double headed eagle national focus, the decision to restore Byzantium doesn't pop up. I'm out of ideas at this point and it's getting tiring. I got the DLC to restore Byzantium and I can't do that one thing.

i have the same problem man, I even annexed the small province of hatay or how it is called. But still the option to revive byzantium is not available to me either
