Most likely you are trying to use a Steam Activation key XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX here. That will never work. Once your game is activated in Steam click on CD Key there, THAT is the forum registration key for here.
As I said , that is a Steam activation key not a forum registration key. Once you have your game activated in Steam, click on CD Key there and you'll see your forum key.
I bought my game on Steam store so there's not steam activation key. I've copied those keys by clicking right in the games name in steam library and then i go to CD Keys but when I put them on the forum that message appears.

Ah, that's different. We have nothing to do with that game any more, so you can't register it.

FYI, you may need to start installing the game first before the CDkey button even appears.

May I receive some help from the mods? I have my game registered, but it doesn't appear to be registered and the forum doesn't let me read any CK2-specific threads like mods and support. What's wrong - when I'm trying to put my serial number again, it says that it was already used. Who can help me with that? Sorry, I don't know where else to post such a request.
CK2 is registered to you already, there's no point in doing it again. Look in Owned Items - is it listed? If so it must be set to be hidden.
You might need to try a different browser.
Sorry for jacking the thread but I can't register my games either, and I've tried looking in Owned Items and changing between four browsers but no luck. It's just CK2 and EU4 base games I can't register, I've registered all my dlc to those games successfully though.
Could it have something to do with my recent name change here on the forums?

I have a similar problem with EU4 and i don't have the view CD code option in steam so i'm using the code i got with my confirmation email but as i said it does'nt work
That's because this thread is over 2 years old, and the info in it is obsolete. Use the link in my sig that tells you how to sync your games with Steam now.
