Can't redeem Crusader Kings II Base game

I decided to finally use this account and redeemed CK II however I can't seem to redeem my CK II base game, and without that I cannot access the Mod forums for the game. When I try it just says: The redeem code was not found!
Any help would be appreciated.

Exactly the same for me. However, the key I'm trying to redeem is for Hearts of Iron 3. I've tried different ways to put it in but it's always 'not found'.

My key, from a brand new copy of the game collection (disc, box, etc... not steam), is 15 digits (numbers and letters (CAPS)) and 2 dashes, as in: ***** - ***** - *****

As the OP has already said, any help would be appreciated.

Edit: I think I fixed it with spaces between the dashes. Though, I can't tell. Is it supposed to say somewhere in my profile that I've registered something?

If you're 100% sure there are no typing errors in the code and you're selecting CK2 from the dropdown list, could you log a support ticket with the code and everything you've tried? https://paradox.zendesk.com/hc

Thank you very much for the help, Wagonlitz and pevergreen. I have managed to sort things out. Apparently, although it doesn't say on the packaging, it was a Steam key that I tried to enter on here. Logging a ticket eventually helped me in the right direction.

If any of my posts are in the wrong place, I wouldn't mind them being moved to where they should be. Please excuse my fumbling around, but I really am quite new to all this.
