cant pick any mods when I start CK2

Hi.
I baught the game from steam. I also baught "Sword of Islam" and "Norse unit pack" and I downloaded the game of thrones mod. I followed the text file.
When I start the game from steam I get no mods to select and if I just press "Start CKII" it just closes.
Im probably an idiot.. please help me.

But my steam is in C:\steam and I've Verifyed Game Cache several times. Still no DLCs.
I've been in the C:\Steam\steamapps\common\crusader kings ii\DLC folder, and I have the two DLCs there. (I think:4 files: 2 ending with .dlc on 1 kB and 2 ZIP files who is bigger)
I've also always been on none betas on properties.

Dont know what to do

Btw also deleted game and reinstalled.. still does not work.

Does your game work without trying to run the mod?

You have to put the mods in the My Documents -> Paradox Interactive -> Crusader Kings II -> mod folder. If there is not one create it. It was changed after the release to be located there.

Heh, I taught you needed a mod too play.. My luncher shuts down when I try to start the game.

Still dont see mods(I moved the mods to My Documents -> Paradox Interactive -> Crusader Kings II -> mods) and still the luncher just shuts down when I try too start game, after reinstalling everthing.
fml I want to play!

Hi lano,

Please do the following:
First, run Visual C++ 2010.
Second, run Visual C++ 2010 SP1.
Third, run the DirectX (web) installer.
When that is done, go to Windows Update and make sure you have downloaded all .NET updates Windows Update shows you.
