Playing as England, got the PU over France and a huge coalition formed. So we are loosing badly. France and my provinces on the main land are completely sieged. But since England is the naval power at the start of the game, no one can enter the british islands. So the war is now stuck at around 65-70 WS. But the coalition wont accept peace... Even a 100WS peace offer will be rejected...

How do i solve this problem? How to continu? Stuck forever?

After 5 years or so the length of war modifier starts to become positive (the AI wants peace after long enough fights), so after enough time has passed (10years or so) you can peace out. (You will still have to give them concessions though.)

Are you asking for things they dont want, have you tried suggested offers? Usually thats what gets people, a screenshot would be good.
No matter how much you are actually giving it can only ever be +100 reasons for your enemy to accept a peacedeal. Since his warscore is at -70 and coalition wars get another -50 reasons to accept (and also other minor factors like relative stength of alliance, holds capital and such); It should be literally impossible to offer any deal the AI would accept. Coalition wars are a bit stupid that way.

Not how it works. There is special acceptance code for 'has offered everything we could possibly want without going over 100% warscore'.

Releasing Guyenne is something they want. And 100 WS. After some years, they did accept (even they had still -21 reasons to accept...
I find it much easier to try and manipulate the AI peace deals than solidly release nations, you can usually give them what they want by losing a province from your vassals here and there, I guess at least you can get on with your game now.

Didn't know that. I guess I'm just terrible at offering peacedeals then. In my Russia game I got a massive coaliton after forcing a PU over Hungary. Yarkand declared on me and in the end I had to give them 70% warscore worth of provinces and release Hungary (100% warscore) for them to accept peace.
Is it possible to change the "suggest offer" button, so that instead of beeing greyed out with a "enemys won't accept anything we could offer at the moment" notice to "offer everything they could possibly want without going over 100% warscore"

The button being greyed out is a bug I believe. I'll try and reproduce it.

Wait, so when I try to suggest demands, willing to give 100%, and the button says they won't accept... it's a bug and I should manually add stuff? That would help out a lot.

I'd really like if there was some kind of surrender option. Your opponent gets 100% warscore but must make peace immediately.

They'd have to get full occupation too, or they couldn't necessarily pick what they want.

Also, what if the enemy wanted concessions from some non-leader in a separate peace first?

Seems I was too slow. Thanks for fixing it this fast! I am honestly baffled about your speed.
But anyways this is what I was talking about:
Started a game as bohemia and annexed hungary in a single war (with yesman command)
Button is greyed out:
skmgKxO.jpg

And AI won't accept peace even if I offer literally everything I can:

On a somewhat related note, I was playing the Papal States and joined France's war against England and others. We won the war to the point that I was getting ticking war exhaustion. France didn't peace out, so after a few months of that, I peaced out to stop getting WE. I had transferred all occupations to France, so it should have been able to get whatever it wanted.

FYI: Had a similar problem back in 1.12 and posted a bug report:
Fought a coalition war as Austria and lost, but couldn't peace out because the modifiers were so heavily against me that the AI would not accept any sort of deal. The only way out was to wait until the "length of war" modifier got really high. I suppose this is a bug - what's the point of waiting for years, fully sieged, when you lost anyway?
Hope this helps with fixing the bug.
