So I started a game playing sheikh Khazim of Al Amarah (769 start date). Dude's 49, has some grown up kids with their own provinces, but he has no wives. So I tried to marry. But when I choose any, any potential wife when I click 'arrange marriage' I can't choose my ruler as the potential husband.

Am I missing something or is it a bug ? :(

*edit*
Of course, I'm playing the latest version through Steam.

Seems this bug is widespread.

When your ruler is employed at his liege court, seems you cant marry anyone. Same problem for betrothal. You need to resign work position in order to be able to marry. Clearly a bug.

Sometime when your ruler is at his own court, the list of potential spouse is also empty when clicking arrange arriage (or clicking the rings next tohis picture). In this case clicking a woman in the character search list works if you want to marry her to your character. (marry woman->your char works when marry your char -> woman dont work). Another bug

I found that if you select yourself from the liege's court while on the council, you can educate your kids. Haven't tried to get married while in my liege's court that way, though.

No, not beta. But it's nice to hear that you have somehow got rid of this bug, although I read the beta changelog and didn't had any clue how exactly you did that :)
