Can't load 1.5.1 game on ironman anymore

Hi all,

I have been throught many threads and was not able to find the correct solution.

My game has been saved when I was playing 1.5.1. It is on ironman.

Now, when I try to load it with 1.6+, it crashes...
When I revert back (using properties -> ...) to 1.5.1, it loads, shows the map but says that the game doesn't comply with ironman. I read that it was due to the file version. Ironman accepts only 1.6 games by now.

I hope Paradox did the necessary so that such issue can't happen. I hope that I was only not able to find how to solve my issue.

I have the same problem.
I get a CTD when I click on my Kongo 1.5.1 ironman savegame. The CTD happens directly when I click on the savegame so that it even doesn't show the map.

All other savegames work properly.

But I have no mod at all and never played the beta-iroman beta version.

Thank you for the link. That's exactly my problem. I started my game using the 1.51betapatch because ironman wasn't working. I also don't use mods.
