can't launch the game

No matter how many times i remove and re-download it, whenever I start Cities:Skylines this happens:
1) i click the play button on the steam, everything is normal here
2) i get the launcher, again everything is normal, it recognises my previous save files and i can choose between continue and play
3) no matter weather i choose 'play' or 'continue', the game doesn't start up, instead i get an error message saying:

'The game crashed.
The crash report folder named' --date of today-- ' next to game executable
it would be great if you'd send it to the developer of the game!

for info I am not subscribed to any workshop mod / extention.

Aside from that .dmp file there will be error.log and output_log.txt in there, please attach them here. Thanks.

You almost certainly have the Citrix Workspace problem.
