Can't Launch Game, Bootstrap Error

As the title says, whenever I try to launch eu4 I get a bootstrap error telling me it can't start the launcher. I have tried to completely reinstall the game to no avail. This is the only pdx game that this happens to. Does anyone know how to fix it?

You probably get more help if you post in the tech support forum. Maybe uninstalling eu4 and uninstalling the launcher as described in this post(the last folder probably has a higher number now) helps you.

I had the same problem in Stellaris but I assume this will fix it in EU4 as well. Find the launcher in the local files of EU4 and uninstall and reinstall it. Should be an easy fix!
