Cant install Hearts of Iron 2

Cant install Hearts of Iron 2

The exe file installer tells you that it will create a

C:\Program Files (x86)\Paradox Interactive\Heart of Iron

And clincking to proceed it stalls when I come to a box that tells me to

Insert Disk 1 and to C:\Users\Robert\Downloads

If I then press proceed the show stopping message that the file dosnt exist in Insert Disk 1 and to C:\Users\Robert\Downloads and asks me to manualy locate it.

I checked for a paradox intercative file but the installer hasnt created it all I seem to have for over £70+ because I bought the whole sequal is a seires of suto installers that dont work

For this (rather old) game you should report support issues by using Zendesk.

Please uninstall the game and reinstall it outside of c:\program files, use c:\games\Hoi2 instead. This will avoid all the permission trouble generated by Vista/7 UAC.
