Can't get past 1600ish

I am sorry if this was already reported.

I am haveing major CTD's between 1580 and about 1630. Anytime I try to load a saved game in between these times the game crashes. It is making EU2 really unplayable as I can only play half the game before it crashes and I can't load it back up. I didn't have this problem with 1.02, just 1.03.

My Specs:
Dell Pentium 3 1.2 Ghz
256 MB RAM
GeForce3
Windows XP

If you get a CTD when you click on a saved game, please read the Sticky thread at the top of this forum about how to fix it.

OK, so the sticky thread tell *what* the problem is, can I get some help on how to fix it? I'm not as confident of my ability to play around with the save game files as some . . . .
