I bought Reaper's Due on Friday afternoon and have been unable to access the DLC. I purchased the content pack and both the DLC and the content pack store pages say they are in my library. The problem is, however, they don't show up on my DLC tab for CK2 in Steam, they don't show up on the screen where I can select DLC. They one place they do show up in-game is the content tab, but they show up as not activated, and no matter how many times I click, I can't actually activate them. I don't know if this is an issue with the game or with Steam, but I am hoping to find a solution so I can actually play the DLC that I spent $14 on.

I've done everything I can think of to try and get this to work, uninstalled and did a clean reinstall, verified the local cache, deleted the DLC from the game folder and re-added them and still nothing.

Let's try a clean re-install with Steam refresh:

- move any valued save games elsewhere
- "delete local content" in Steam-CK2
- exit Steam
- manually delete both the Steam/SteamApps/common/CK2 AND Documents/Paradox/CK2 folders
- manually delete everything in the Steam folder EXCEPT steam.exe and the /SteamApps/ folder
- run steam.exe to rebuild all that
- re-install game in Steam, run a Steam Verify when done.
- start the game with no mods active and test
