Can't get allies to join war because no military access, but can't give them military access because at peace...

So this is a odd problem... They won't accept my "Give military access" request.. I mean.. I'm giving it to them.. not requesting.. They'll happily give me military access to their lands, but they refuse me allowing them to access my lands?

Then I can't get them to actually join the war, because of "military access" problems, and the fact they can't actually reach the enemy.. which wouldn't be a problem if the AI would just accept my offer of military access....

Edit: I think I figured it out... The AI does not see Uncolonized territories as area's their armies can walk. Bastarnia thinks Semnonia is blocking them from accessing my lands, when in reality they are not.

Do they have Military Access with the state you're trying to call them into war on?

They dont want mil access from you, they want access to the nation you wish to war. Occasionally you will be able to get them to join by asking after the war is declared

No they have no form of diplomacy with the target.

Mil access from me, would give them access to the enemy I want to declare war on...

They dont count the wasteland as traversible I suspect. What happens if you declare? Will they then accept to join in?
