Can't find title

i conquered 3 out 4 provinces of karvuna but i cant take the title ...it doesnt appear in my "create title" screen and i cant find it in any of the surrounding kingdoms

That probably means that someone else holds it. Unless it is his primary title, you will not be able to search for it. Check if the last province is a vassal of that duke. If he is, you can find the person with the ducal title through the count's character screen.

I checked all the vassals of bizantium seljuks and hungary (there arent many at this point) and none have it ...i was hoping there was some index where i could look it up

Update: i found it eventually some independent duke in southern greece had it
