Can't find the settings file..

I want to change the resolution to full screen but i can not find the settings file anywhere. I tried to search for it but can't find anything.
Edit: I found two, on that says ingame and one that says frontend but when i changed to the no to yes but the game is still not full screen.

You have to use the settings.txt in the My Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II folder. Not the ones in the main installation folder.
