Can't figure out why kings are dying

I just had mass King death within about 3 months. 1 Son and 2 brothers in a row. I assume they are either dying in battle or being assassinated, maybe even natural causes. Can we at least get a message saying how they die. I'm just left scratching my head as to why this calamity has just whacked my kingdom. Mass succession revolts and everything now. So did was the dead king found with a knife in his back, choking on poison or what. Message please.

Up in Northumberland there was a consumption outbreak, but it may have even passed by this time, and definitely not Southern England where my 2 active kings died in the field (one during a passive siege, forget the other one) and then the young heir with a regency. Still, I got no message about it. Just the big "King has died" message showing him and the new king. Since mass vassal uprisings were occurring I'm rather suspicious of the mass die off.

And to avoid beeing killed check if your spymaster likes you and do some uncover-plots mission
in your capital region. I usually do this when I'm independent because there's allways someone
who wants to see you or your heir dead...

You do get a specific message when your King dies in battle (as I recall) and you definitely get one when you know you've been assassinated, whether or not you know who did it. Either you're really unlucky or your spymaster doesn't like you.

I run my spymaster on uncover plots 100% of the time in Middlesex. I got no messages about dying in battle or assassination. I mad.

EDIT: Oh, and they were under 25 years old. Poor King Harold of England, 2000+ prestige and known as "the Great". His kingdom is now in ruins but a year after his passing.

It would be really nice to know why characters either immediately in your family or that you're 'following' die. I lost two young heirs in their 20s with no indication that they were ill. I understand that some events and conditions just cause negative health and so it's difficult to pinpoint one cause, but I'd settle for just being aware of the contributing factors. 'Aquitaine has died! He had consumption, typhoid fever, and forum-itis, though.'

Playing as duke of lancaster in the demo, my son the heir survived a grand total of 24 days before feeling the cold steel of an assassins knife.

So the duchess of Lancaster, at 3 years old took over. And clown and happy bubbles day has been celebrated there ever since.
