Can't figure out why I am losing money every month with positive balance

According to my income sheet, I should have a positive balance every month, but the gold icon on the top of the screen shows me losing 2 ducats a month. If I change the slider so I should get a higher balance, I still just keep losing money every month. Any explanations? I have the national bank idea so I should be able to reduce inflation and mint a tiny bit of money, but I just keep losing money every month, completely opposite from what the balance sheet says should be happening.

You have to close the budget sheet for any changes to take effect.

True, I've gone bankrupt by not closing the window before. I kept having this strange suspicion that perhaps it took a few months to turn back when I just had to close the darn window. Ah well.

Yeah I reset it and it is fixed. Apparently it was because I kept the balance sheet open the whole time. That seems like a highly irritated and stupid bug that should be fixed.

There is a simple fix. closing the window.

But if it was fixed so that the changes took place without closing the window, you'd see a hundred threads about how someone accidentally had to take a loan while they were fine-tuning their budget...

Or similar such things.
