Can't download hfm mod

So I tried and to download the mod and i looked into my files and I didn't see a mod folder (plus with my so far limited experience with files) so yeah sry if I seem to be a dumbass just pls help

So you could actualy download the mod, contrary to what your headline suggests ?
Fine.

The "mod " folder is in Steam/Steamaps/common/Victoria 2.
That where you get to place your mod.
You got both expansions ? Great.
