Can't declare (any more) a vasall as vice-king

One of my vasalls become vice king. After his death the kingdom returned to me. Till this point everything is ok.

Because of the vice kingdom law the number of vasalls is reduced and now I risk to loose some of them after death. So I intend to give the kingdom again to one of my vasalls but this option is no longer available...

I did not change the corresponding law, I only changed the main city from Karbala to Bagdad. This problem still exists with the Beta Patch 2.2.0.3.

This should be fixed post 2.2.0.3, but unfortunately in your case you have to disable viceroys and then reenable them before making a save for the save file to register that you have it. After that it should be usable on loading
