So, I've been playing as a norse-man following the Dragon Cult, and I am seemingly unable to convert provinces. The most I've been able to do is convert my vassals. Can anyone help?
Definitely the same culture and religion. I got a new priest to see if that would change anything, so far no luck, but the old one had a six percent chance. Is your priest the same religion as you? I couldn't culture convert provinces for a long time, and then I noticed my chancellor was a different culture than me and when I assigned him to a province the percentage chance to convert didn't even show up. Mouse over the priest while he's assigned to a province and see what the % chance is.
That does seem like a good workaround, except most of my vassals have had the same religion as me for a couple years now. We're all norse too. Even if I can't convert the provinces. they should be able to right? But nothing has happened. You can only convert provinces in your realm, so educate your vassals' heir and have them the same culture and religion as you are
Revoke or inherit their lands when you can, and convert them before giving them back. That's just it, none of my provinces are converting, demesne or not.Revoke or inherit their lands when you can, and convert them before giving them back. Even if it means going over your demesne limit
Update. Can you use your chancellor to convert your provinces ? Since they probably are of your culture I suppose you can't, but I'm not sure about that
