So I'm not sure if the site is already completed but I took it from an AA and there are 4 chapters complete. The 4th chapter doesn't seem to be conclusive and there are additional chapter slots that appear locked, but the "Change Leader" option is greyed out. I've deleted the starbase and surveyed the system, then rebuilt the starbase, reloaded the game and the launcher and restarted my Xbox and it just seems like I can't complete it

Sorry, forgot to add, the site says "fully excavated", but there's no reward or relic to collect. Isn't there supposed to be one?

No, did you even read readme? Bug reporting is for bug reporting. Its not to ask questions. If you are not sure, post questions on main console forum. OP problem is not a bug
Except the post wasn't a question, it was a bug report. Depending on the answer to the question, that would either confirm or disprove the bug. It would have been both more productive and quicker to just answer "yes, this is bugged" or "no, this is mechanically working fine".

TLDR Bug reports and questions can exist in the same thread

Well then it was horrible bug report. I advise you read readme again before posting any other horrible attempts

Stellaris is a complex game. It is normal to think you might have encountered a bug when you don't understand the mechanics. Most of us like answering these questions. Please don't discourage other users from posting. We want a active forum.

I agree, but bug reporting subforum is not where you ask questions or have a discussion. Mods could move this topic to discussion sub please.
And for those who are not sure how to do proper report and can't find readme:

1. What platform are you using?
2. What version of the game are you using?
3. What DLC do you have installed?
4. When did this start happening?
5. Can you replicate it, if so, please explain how
6. Does this happen on all saves or just specific ones?
7. What steps have you taken to try and solve this yourself (reinstall, Google error code etc)?

You are not wrong, but the problem is your point is being stated in a negative way. This detracts from the poster's experience and leaves them less likely to post in the future. It is better to just to answer their question in friendly way and let the mods worry about the rest.

The fact is, I probably shouldn't have let this degenerate into an argument, but I get bothered when people respond in a way that I view as negative. I probably should have just let it go. I apologize.

Alright, I reread my post it does sound negative, sorry everyone

There's no need to apologise, and negativity is fine depending on how the point is being made (and how you define negative), it was just weird to get hung up on something most see as very minor.

Sorry for the snarky
I'd ask why you feel so strongly about nitpicky semantics but... well...
