I picked up CK II over the summer sale and have been playing it. In my game I'm a Scottish nobleman and my (Welsh) wife has a claim on the Petty Kingdom of Gwynedd. I DOWed the King of Gwynedd and won the war, but when I go to make peace I am only given the options of a White Peace or Surrender.

Is my inability to press claims in this war related to the fact that my wife and not me has the claim to the throne of Gwynedd or am I just missing something?

EDIT: Could it be that my wife can't inherit the throne as a female? If that's the case would I need to kill her off to take over her claim or would I lose Cassus Belli if I do that?
