Can't buy DLC whilst subscribed to DLC subscription

Hi everyone, just making sure everyone knows that whilst subscribed to hoi 4 rental DLC monthly subscription you cannot buy the DLC outright on steam as steam considers that you have the dlc until your subscription runs out.

There is a sale on at the moment but I couldn't buy the DLC as I was subscribed to the monthly subscription.

I asked steam support for help and they said the problem is with paradox.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Sorry to hear this- this sounds like a crappy situation.

Maybe you can try opening up a tech support ticket? There is a Tech Support sub-forum listed at the top of this page that may be able to help.
