Does anyone else have this issue? I can't cast buffing spells on the Archers of Helia and have them affect the unit. Vampiric Weapons, Melee Resistance, levitation... the spell is cast, but the unit is not affected. I can buff other temple units, like the Paladins of Death and Assassins. Am I missing something?

It's immune to elemental magic, which apparently includes enchantments. It's the same for the Helia wolves. Hard to tell if it's intended or not, but the workaround is to buff them before you upgrade them, IE fully buff your Rangers then upgrade them to Archers of Helia and all the buffs stick and the AI never disenchants.

I don't really get why it works this way, nothing in the spell description states that the enchantment spells are Elemental. The only thing it should really make them immune to are heal/damage spells.

It's also really annoying that it still lets you waste your own spells/mana on the unit. It really doesn't make sense that elemental imunity blocks all kinds of enchantment, even ones that have more in common with spirit magic than elemental (farsight, haste etc.), I came here assuming it was a bug.

It's not only Archer or Wolf of Helia, anything that has Elemental Immunity are immune to enchants (especially weapon enchants).

Bug? Maybe yes, Maybe not, why? Because it has been like this since update 1 ( i forgot which version of the game).

But i'm sure that weapon enchantments are registered as elemental magic. Perhaps for simplicity in programming the game.

You can still enchant the unit before upgrading to AoH/WoH or before buffing a unit with Elemental Immunity, all enchantments will stay.

It sounds like a bug to me, because vampiric buff also doesn't work on them, which -if enchantments are not arcane spells- should be death magic, not elemental. If it's WAD, there should be an *immune* popup at the very least.
