So as the Byzantine Emperor I see the Lombardy break out into a three-way civil war. Score! Opportunity to attack Lombardy! Unfortunately I'm in a non-aggression pact with the Lombard King.

Looking under the "pacts" tab I see that the non-aggression pact exists because I married my nephew to his daughter. No-problem: I bribed her->converted her to orthodox->had her excommunicated->imprisoned her->executed her. No opinion penalties with my vassals except of course the Lombard king now has -100 relations with me. His icon disappears from my "pact" tab BUT I still appear in his "pact" tab! Apparently I'm still in a non-aggression pact with him. I don't think I have any other close relatives married to his close relatives.

Is it that a non-aggression pact is signed for life between me and the King regardless of the death of the initial relatives that made it happen? Thus I must either die, or he does for it to end?

I think that's a bug. The pacts are supposed to dissolve once the marriage that created them ends, though they can be renewed if rulers remain closely related.
