Has anyone noticed that you can't break a non-aggression pact if the person who made the alliance is executed? Say I make a non-aggression pact with the King of France via a matrilineal marriage to his son. I bring the son to my court. But then the King becomes Incapable, and I have an opportunity to press a claim. So I excommunicate and then execute the son. But the non-aggression pact still stands! This is really frustrating...And no, I have no other relatives married to the King - we've been removed from both our respective "Pacts" tab.
