so i'm pretty sure at the start of my game i could assign jobs to my council but now the buttons are just blank as shit

i do have mods on but as far as i know nothing that would cause this? and if i disable them all it doesn't change so i can't be sure. i'm leaning towards this being a bug/mod incompatibility but is there any kind of vanilla 'feature' that can make it so you can't assign jobs? cuz i'd like to make sure before i give up on this file

Pretty sure that's a mod issue, I think I've had that issue when playing with mods but that was a long time ago and I think I was playing a total conversion mod at the time. Never seen anything like that in vanilla.

If I had a dollar for every time I've seen someone post this only for it turn out to be a mod issue... well I'd have no issue buying as many Paradox DLCs as I wanted, let's put it that way.

fair point, i just meant that none of my active mods affected the council in anyway. unless this is proof that my homemade gay mod is sinful and unnatural and will slowly break the game

well uhhhhhhh i completely reinstalled the game, activated exactly the same mods, and now the icons are back. that's fucking weird. anyway somemod delete this or w/e i guess
