Turkey (and the ducat bug)

Well, I guess the anti-campaign'll just have to gird itself up for the fight to have this "fixed" in patch 1.02! Which judging from some of the bug reports won't be too far away..............
Yeah -- this definitely could use some fixing. In my game as the Ottoman Turks last evening:
1. Byzantium offered me a military alliance RIGHT off the bat! Not _necessarily_ a-historical, but I had this happen to me twice (in different games)...
2. Conquering Byzantium consisted of declaring war on Byzantium, then sieging and conquering Constantinople (this is best done while most of the Roman troops are occupied elsewhere because of one or another ridiculous war... leaving themselves utterly unprotected of course!

)... After the FIRST conquest of Constantinople, I annexed Morea and some gold, then I FINALLY after another five or so years declare another war on Constantinople and just waltz in, siege, and conquer. No more Byzantium!
Of course, I choose to dissolve the Patriarchate, pissing off all of those touchy Orthodox nations, giving myself a +1 boost to stability and 300 gold (MUCH better choice than the other two, IMHO, which boost relations slightly with Orthodox nations... one boosts a lot with a stab decrease, the other boosts a little with no stab decrease...).... Doesn't seem like there is really all THAT much motivation to maintain the Patriarchate -- unless you really WANT to make nice with all of those future annexees.
Anyhow, the one thing that is REALLY REALLY REALLY irritating in this game? The fact that I was offered 570 gold ducats as a peace offering by the people of Trebizond as a peace offering and when I accepted this offering...? I get a measly 200 ducats!
I really HATE the fact that the computer can offer more money than it has -- even more than I hate the fact that I can demand more money than the computer has and that the computer will 'give in' to my demands, while really just handing over the 1 ducat in it's treasury.
Both of these things really deserve fixes, man.
However, I love this game.
