Cant annex a nation of 20 year vassel and 195 relations!

Hi-
Ok...I dont know how to annex a nation in peace! I am England and Hannover and Brendenburg are my Vassels. They hey been since 1502 game time and it is no 1522 game time! I am allied with both nations and austria. My relation with Hannover and brandenburg is 195...I have tried getting it up to 200 even though it says I only need 190+! I have evertyhing I need it seems. It has been 20 years, relations 190+...but it wont let me to annex them! What am I doing wrong? I must annex them quick as I know they will change to protestent very soon. What can I do?! They are still Catholic.

As far as I have been able to determine, you must share a border to be able to diplomatically annex a country.

I have pretty much the same problem as the Turks. While I have used huge bribes to claim Iraq, Aden and Oman as my own, Algiers is my vassal but I can't do the same to them because Cyrenaica, Tripoli and Tunis lie in-between. And Tunis is Algiers' vassal so I can't get to be their neighbour without a war.

Thanks...I am almost thinking war will be worth it...I have had my eye on spain for awhile.

+ They got almost 200 more VP, so they a need loss.
