Cant add province to HRE due to misguided modifier

No you can add territories to the HRE
I might have the same problem in my game, where provinces really near Asia, but still in European regions like Caucasus or Anatolia can't be added. (Or maybe continents don't follow the same frontiers as the regions?)

Good to know that Paradox Crew doesnt consider balkans to be part of Europe. I wonder what do they consider it? Africa?

In-game, the Asia/Europe border is in eastern Anatolia.

YES, all the blue (French) provinces you see apart from Branicevo are added to HRE. It says it "isnt on European continent....."
Do you have a save game you could share with this? Was unable to reproduce the problem.

That kind of comment isn't helpful at all.
Especially since "that Paradox Crew" does consider Balkans to be a part of Europe.
You can add the whole Ottoman Empire to the HRE, so that's clearly not the issue here.
He should be able to add that province.

After long and extensive testing I learned that a certain mod is the reason for that issue, not a bug within the base game. Sorry Para, it aint your fault
That's what I get for stupidly trusting modders to do a honest job. Seems like I'll have to part ways with one of my fav' and most used mod (hopefully only for a time being). Gonna inform author about the issue and hopefully see it fixed.

You are being unfair... For one, modders are offering the fruits of their labour for free during their hobby, so you might want to accept some bugs, especially considering they will try to fix them as soon as possible. Second, mods have different philosoplies, and might not see the addition of provinces to the HRE the same way you do... doesn't make them dishonest in the least.
