Can't add picture to forum post

In trying to add a screenshot to a post, I received the following message.


The following error occurred. There was a problem uploading your file.

This helps me not at all. I remember on the old forum that sometimes, there were too many pictures uploaded. What could the problem be.

You will receive a different error if the post has too many images in it (20 was the limit per post last time i checked).

Could you try uploading your image to a image host (like imgur.com) and then inserting that into your post?

It actually worked, but I had to change thefile from a png to a jpeg. The old forum never had any problem posting pngs. It only had problems if you didn't have enough space.
