Cannot sign peace with former colony and their protectorate.

Here is the deal: i play as Spain and have Florida as my colonial nation. Florida has Creek as their protectorate. I DoW on Creek, Florida tries to protect them. War is 99% in my favor. And i can't sign peace. Can i fix it? Or should i wait a patch?

Did you see the tooltip text?

You cannot negotiate separate peace with someone who is a former subject of the defender

I take is that is not true in this case? That in fact Florida is a former subject of you the attacker?

Have you tried a separate peace with both nations?

Yes, i screened that tooltip with purpose
Florida was my colony, which all of a sudden became independent when i dow their protectorate - Creek. Now i'm unable to enter peace deal menu with either. Protectorate cannot sign separate peace - that's ok. But war leader, which is my now former colony, cannot sign peace deal too, watch for the tooltip, and that's a bug. I had +100% warscore for several years, but white peace didn't show up (i barely now how auto white peace works in EU4). And now war attrition increasing for +0,64 each month so i simply cannot play this match along. It's a little sad to lost all the play time as Spain in ironman, but i will start some other country for now. Just hope PDS will fix this soon enough

This is a bug and it has been reported already (as far as I know)
